After the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a 10-day Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) over El Paso, Texas, due to "special security reasons," El Paso International Airport has said the alert will halt all flights heading to and leaving the airport, including commercial, cargo, and general aviation.
